Key Responsibilities

  • •Consult with international clients on production topics across strategy, network optimization, and plant performance using the Roland Berger SOP Framework.
  • •Develop production strategies and design future-oriented production approaches with global project teams.
  • •Holistically and cross-functionally optimize material and product costs to improve performance outcomes.
  • •Identify and implement improvement opportunities and synergies across client value creation.
  • •Advance client processes and organizational structures by applying digitalization and data/AI-based solution approaches.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a university or reputable technical college.
  • •Several years of production experience in areas such as process optimization, production planning, Lean Manufacturing, production network optimization, and Industry 4.0/IIoT/Cloud.
  • •Project management experience and familiarity with industries such as automotive manufacturing/suppliers, energy plant construction, large motors, turbo equipment, machine tools, and metal production/processing.
  • •First leadership experience in production and supply chain settings.
  • •Excellent analytical and conceptual abilities, with strategic and entrepreneurial thinking; fluent German and English and international experience.
