Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the data platform’s architecture and technical direction, treating data infrastructure as a reusable software product.
  • •Build and operate ingestion across streaming, batch, CDC, and third-party connectors, including safe schema evolution.
  • •Land data into Snowflake with predictable freshness/completeness/cost characteristics and define the handoff for Analytics Engineering.
  • •Own the orchestration layer (scheduling, retries, backfills, and dependency management across the full data graph).
  • •Build transformation/compute frameworks, self-serve tooling, trust layers (quality/observability/lineage), and patterns for PII and multi-region residency.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years building and operating production data infrastructure with ownership of systems other teams depend on.
  • •Deep experience with cloud data warehouses, strongly including Snowflake, with performance tuning and cost management.
  • •Hands-on CDC and streaming pipeline experience with Kafka, Debezium, Flink, or Spark Streaming.
  • •Experience with workflow orchestration such as Temporal, Airflow, or Dagster at scale.
  • •Strong programming skills in Python and advanced SQL, plus data quality/observability/lineage and governance for regulated environments.
