Job Summary

Support integrated audits for banking operations by assessing the design and operating effectiveness of IT general and IT dependent controls. Plan and perform walkthroughs, document process narratives, test control adherence to policies and regulatory guidance, and validate management action plans to close audit issues. Use Wdesk/Workiva to create audit documentation, respond to review notes, provide status updates, and participate in team and peer meetings under mentorship from an IT audit director.

Key Responsibilities

•Support integrated audits for banking operations, and participate in multiple audit assignments/projects across IT, credit administration, risk management, and compliance disciplines as required.
•Prepare for and attend process walkthrough meetings, document process narratives, and test the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls against policies and regulatory guidance.
•Use audit software (Wdesk/Workiva) to create audit documentation, respond to review notes, and provide conclusions and recommendations per audit methodology.
•Plan and perform test validation for implemented management action plans, and assist with closure of audit issues.
•Provide ad-hoc reports and status updates, comply with training requirements, and attend team/peer/one-on-one meetings.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in a related field.

•Prior relevant experience in financial services and internal audit preferred but not required.
•Knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, and industry standards; strong time management and communication skills.
