Key Responsibilities

  • •Technical owner of projects delivered for customers in Japan and the surrounding regions
  • •Identify key opportunities for collaboration and projects in conjunction with the sales team
  • •Evaluate the success of projects against their aims, goals, and objectives
  • •Lead a team of 3-5 researchers in Japan
  • •Represent QuEra at conferences and events

Key Requirements

  • •Ph.D. in applied mathematics, computer science, or quantum physics, or equivalent professional experience
  • •Leadership in quantum algorithm development demonstrated through an exceptional scientific publication record in relevant fields
  • •In-depth understanding and relationships with the Japanese quantum ecosystem
  • •A proven ability to technically lead a team of 3-5 researchers
  • •Experience with technical project management
