Job Summary

Join the Recon and Reporting team to build and operate near real-time systems that ingest global card-network settlement and report files, reconcile them against internal payment data, and power settlement, dispute, cost, tax, and regulatory reporting. Own end-to-end, well-scoped projects across ingestion and reconciliation pipelines, deliver automated traceability tooling, and support production debugging while collaborating with engineers, product, data, finance, tax, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Own small, well-bounded projects end-to-end: clarify requirements, design, build, test, ship, and follow up.
•Build and maintain ingestion and reconciliation pipeline features that match card-network and partner reports against internal transaction data.
•Contribute to tooling that provides end-to-end traceability of money throughout the system.
•Develop accurate, reliable, timely, scalable, user-friendly reporting and reconciliation features for internal finance teams and external merchants.
•Contribute to large-scale tax and regulatory reporting and support secure handling of sensitive/PII data, including validation and form generation/filing.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of professional software or data engineering experience.
•Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent technical experience.
•Experience building batch- or event-driven data pipelines with exposure to workflow-orchestration technologies (e.g., Airflow, Temporal, Spark) and distributed systems.
•Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go) and solid SQL.
•Experience delivering well-scoped end-to-end features (design, build, test, ship, operate) with guidance and strong communication for debugging/escalation.
