Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage multiple blue-chip public cloud projects simultaneously, shaping SoW or similar agreements and ensuring goals for both Canonical and clients are met.
  • •Ensure delivery within schedule, scope, cost, budget, and resource expectations while maintaining customer focus with key stakeholders.
  • •Identify key technical and project risks/issues and implement mitigating actions.
  • •Run regular status meetings and business reviews, providing direction as needed.
  • •Manage delivery schedules for critical third-party deliverables and coordinate cross-organization engineering requests not covered by existing contracts.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven background as an IT cloud software development project manager, IT program/project manager, agile software manager, or scrum master.
  • •Deep understanding of Linux, open source, and the public cloud space.
  • •Software engineering experience and ability to shape work agreements and manage projects through their life cycles.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including leading cross-cultural remote and global teams and customers.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline plus project management certifications (preferably PMP and Agile/Scrum Master).
