Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise a group of design engineers and drafting personnel, managing team workflow.
  • •Mentor and develop the engineering team and direct department staff.
  • •Develop and maintain client relationships and support client visits for proposals or contract work.
  • •Familiarize with and apply relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, NFPA) to guide engineering work.
  • •Review and coordinate drawings/calculations, vendor requests/quotes, proposal preparation, and cost estimates, including approval of material substitutions as appropriate.
