Job Summary

Build and operate shared GenAI platform infrastructure that powers Pleo’s AI product features. Work on components such as an LLM routing gateway, MCP and tool registries, vector search and RAG, evaluation and observability tooling, and agentic workflow infrastructure. Own platform feature delivery end-to-end with production reliability, security, and developer experience in focus, collaborating across GenAI Core, Applied AI, and product engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and operate core GenAI platform components used by product teams, including LLM routing, vector search/RAG, MCP gateway, evaluation tooling, and agentic workflow infrastructure.
•Own production-quality delivery of platform features from design through rollout, monitoring, and follow-up.
•Contribute to resilient system design with sensible APIs, failure handling, rate limiting, retries, idempotency, and safe change management.
•Improve reliability and observability via metrics, dashboards, alerting, incident follow-ups, and operational improvements.
•Partner with Applied AI Engineers and product teams to understand platform needs and help them build AI features safely, including creating SDKs/templates/guardrails.

•Distributed systems fundamentals including async workflows, idempotency, and designing for failure.
