Job Summary

Own the infrastructure process flow between secured data sources and high-speed, high-volume production printing equipment. Partner with Engineering, Operations, IT, and Security to maintain reliable connectivity across networks, servers, and mailroom equipment. Improve production workflows and uptime by designing and supporting print management platforms, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues, analyzing performance and failure data, and using SNMP monitoring to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

•Research technology trends to improve production workflows, reduce downtime, and increase maintenance repair efficiency.
•Design, implement, and maintain print management platforms to resolve connectivity and driver issues for sensitive print jobs.
•Maintain industrial-scale printing and mail insertion equipment using mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
•Analyze production performance data and failure rates to improve hardware performance and preventive maintenance.
•Monitor device health, performance, and alerts using SNMP-based tools and logs; collaborate with OEM vendors and stakeholders on end-to-end print solutions.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration integrating enterprise networks with production printing systems or similar infrastructure.
•3+ years working with digital print devices (HP, Canon, Xerox, Ricoh) and associated print software in commercial or enterprise settings.
•Experience implementing and supporting print management platforms (PaperCut, UniFlow, PrinterLogic) and Raster Image Processors (RIPs).
•Experience with core networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN configuration, and firewall management.
•Knowledge of PCI/PII compliance and data security, plus strong mechanical/electrical aptitude to troubleshoot AC/DC equipment; bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent).
