Job Summary

Experienced Commercial Counsel to join the APAC Legal team. You will draft, review, and negotiate SaaS, licensing, and strategic partnerships agreements; advise cross-functional teams to enable growth while managing risk; monitor region-specific legal developments; localize templates and playbooks; and work remotely within the APAC region, collaborating with global colleagues.

Job Function: Legal, Risk & Compliance

Key Responsibilities

•Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, with a primary focus on GTM/Sales transactions in APAC, including enterprise customer contracts
•Partner with sales, business development, and operations teams to design and implement strategies that support high-growth go-to-market initiatives
•Monitor and interpret evolving region specific legal and regulatory developments, including data protection, technology, and AI-related frameworks, and apply this knowledge to contract drafting and risk assessment
•Develop, maintain, and localize contract templates, playbooks, and policies to reflect regional requirements and industry best practices
•Provide clear, pragmatic, and commercially focused legal advice to cross-functional teams, tailoring advice to enable responsible growth and innovation
•Contribute to scaling the Legal Team’s commercial function, fostering a collaborative, solutions-oriented team culture

Key Requirements

•Law degree and qualification to practice law in a relevant APAC jurisdiction
•7+ years of post-qualification legal experience (in-house experience in technology or SaaS strongly preferred)
•Proven track record drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements
•Strong knowledge of enterprise software licensing, SaaS, data protection, and intellectual property
•Experience advising on privacy, cybersecurity, and cross-border data transfer issues
