Job Summary

Provide end-to-end application support and maintenance for a US healthcare provider’s critical care systems. You’ll handle L2/L3 incident and problem management, perform proactive monitoring and maintenance (patches, upgrades), and support controlled change and release processes with rollback planning. Partner with business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors to resolve issues and escalations, while maintaining runbooks, knowledge articles, and compliance documentation for regulated healthcare workflows.

Key Responsibilities

•Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve L2/L3 incidents for COTS healthcare applications, including root cause analysis for recurring issues and SLA adherence.
•Proactively monitor application health, interfaces, and batch jobs; perform maintenance, patch validation, and upgrades in coordination with vendors and internal teams.
•Assess, implement, and validate application changes (configurations, patches, upgrades) through controlled release processes, including impact analysis and rollback planning.
•Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors for issue resolution, enhancements, and escalations related to regulated healthcare workflows.
•Maintain knowledge articles, runbooks, and audit documentation while ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA), security standards, and data privacy requirements.

Key Requirements

•7–10 years of experience in healthcare provider application support with strong knowledge of hospital workflows and operational support.
•Knowledge of ICU monitoring systems including alarms, waveforms, and device integrations.
•Experience supporting EEG/EMG/respiratory devices and performing data analysis.
•Ability to integrate monitors with EMRs using flowsheets, orders, and observations.
•Experience with critical care applications such as ABM Portal, Actiware, and AirView, plus troubleshooting of bedside devices, network connectivity, and device interfaces.
