Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership throughout construction, partnering with design and project teams to identify risks and optimize buildability for cost-effective delivery.
  • •Manage bid/award/execution/closeout activities with general contractors and vendors, including negotiations and evaluation of bids/proposals.
  • •Perform cost control and financial analysis, conduct regular site inspections, and certify payments based on VOWD.
  • •Manage contract administration and construction documents, including submittal review, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing.
  • •Ensure construction quality control and compliance with statutory regulations, SLA requirements, and in-house guidelines; record and report key construction metrics.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in building services, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction management, or equivalent (or 10+ years of relevant experience).
  • •5+ years constructing and managing complex MEP systems in mission-critical environments.
  • •5+ years managing general contractor and vendor work including RFPs, bidding, change orders, quality control, and RFI/submittal tracking.
  • •Experience in project/construction management in live data centers or comparable critical infrastructures.
  • •Knowledge of local building codes, statutory regulations, and ability to read and interpret construction specifications and drawings.
