Lead PCB design from concept to manufacturing in an on-site Tucson, AZ role. Own schematic capture, layout, and DFM for rigid, flex, and rigid-flex PCBs using Siemens Xpedition and BluePrint-PCB, collaborating across Electrical, Mechanical, and Producibility teams to meet cost and producibility targets. DoD Secret clearance required; US citizenship required for clearance.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead PCB design from conception to manufacturing, including creation of PCB, CCA, and schematic drawings for suppliers
•Perform schematic capture, component placement, routing of traces, and Gerber/ODB++ file generation
•Utilize Siemens Xpedition Enterprise and DownStream BluePrint-PCB for layout and documentation
•Design layouts including rigid, flex, and rigid-flex assemblies and manage design changes and improvements
•Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, Components, Test, and Producibility teams to ensure design requirements are met considering cost, cycle time, and producibility

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
•Experience with PCB manufacturing or CCA manufacturing principles affecting circuitry and layout including RF techniques
•Experience with electrical design processes including RF layout
•Experience laying out rigid, flex, or rigid-flex PCBs
•Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with engineers across multiple disciplines
