Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with regional and business line teams on priority federal pursuits, including pre-positioning, RFQs/RFPs, and shortlist interviews.
  • •Manage direct reports and team performance to deliver compliant, quality proposal deliverables across the federal portfolio.
  • •Lead must-win pursuits from capture through interview stage, developing schedules, templates, content plans, annotated outlines, drafts, compliance matrices, and non-technical sections.
  • •Serve as a color team and/or compliance reviewer for must-win pursuits; facilitate quality reviews and implement proposal/presentation revision actions from review teams.
  • •Support strategic planning (marketing intelligence, customer concerns, win strategy) and lead Go/No-Go, capture planning, positioning, and debriefs while integrating AI/process improvements into proposal work.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or related field, plus 8+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • •3+ years of people-management experience with a record of recruiting, developing, mentoring, and retaining talent.
  • •Working knowledge of the Architecture/Engineering (A/E) industry with emphasis on AECOM’s U.S. Federal clients, projects, teams, credentials, and competitors.
  • •Proven ability to lead complex, multi-discipline and/or multi-geography proposals with values greater than $20 million.
  • •Excellent writing and editing skills, including strong grammar, tone, and style, and strong proposal/presentation best practices.
