Job Summary

Build and scale a new Card Network Compliance function by designing release management processes aligned to card network mandates. Review and analyze biannual card network releases, drive cross-functional visibility, and coordinate communication with technical partner managers. Establish compliance monitoring frameworks, run mandate intake and waiver requests, and create JIRA-based dashboards and metrics to track each release cycle. Represent Stripe in external councils and advocate for Stripe’s priorities in the card network ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

•Establish a release management process aligned to card network mandates, advising cross-functional partners on impacts, changes, and timelines.
•Review and assess biannual card network releases to identify initiatives impacting Stripe, coordinating visibility and prioritization across teams.
•Create compliance monitoring frameworks, running audits/assessments to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement.
•Develop and maintain metrics and JIRA dashboards to monitor and analyze mandates each release cycle and support proactive issue management.
•Oversee mandate intake and waiver request management, and engage with external card network partners in councils/forums to advocate for Stripe.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in the payments industry with expertise in card networks and card network rules/compliance activities.
•In-depth understanding of acquiring platforms and systems and how they interact with card network products and processes.
•Proficient with JIRA for project management/tracking; familiar with card network portals; comfortable using Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Docs, Slides) for collaboration and documentation.
•Proven ability to collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop new processes and strategies.
•Strong program and project management skills, plus excellent written and verbal communication to influence stakeholders and drive change.
