Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage the Waste Water Modelling Team, managing a sizable team of Drainage Engineers.
  • •Provide technical assurance, and lead preparation of design solutions, methodologies, and technical reports across design stages.
  • •Oversee engineering design work and ensure compliance with best practices and UK regulations, including Health and Safety requirements.
  • •Win work and support commercial opportunities by aligning the business and securing major opportunities and increasing work orders.
  • •Support governance and quality by auditing adherence to WSP Management and Quality processes, implementing corrective measures, and assisting with recruitment and team skill development.

Key Requirements

  • •Masters Degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering.
  • •Experience in urban drainage modelling and/or waste water modelling for UK water distribution industry projects.
  • •Model verification experience and experience with modelling software including Infoworks ICM and GIS tools.
  • •Good understanding of water and wastewater projects with exposure to UK Water Industry standards and specifications.
  • •Professional accreditation from ICE or CIWEM (or pursuing).
