Key Responsibilities

  • •Report daily department functions to the Production Manager and ensure departmental safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • •Prepare the department for production (set-up, staffing) and perform start-of-day activities including stretching.
  • •Conduct daily inspections and equipment/product audits throughout the day, capturing and recording required data.
  • •Monitor departmental areas affecting efficiency, understand equipment operation and adjustments, and communicate downtime causes with the Production Manager and equipment issues with Maintenance.
  • •Train and coach associates, assist with employee reviews for direct reports, support progressive discipline, and help facilitate payroll-related daily employee information.
