Key Responsibilities

  • •Own construction budgets and total installed cost (TIC) estimates across campus/projects, tracking budget-to-actual performance and escalating variances and change orders early.
  • •Manage draw management and ensure compliance with loan agreements, equity funding agreements, and project financing covenants while forecasting funding needs across concurrent projects.
  • •Support financial review of GC and EPC contracts and major vendor/equipment agreements, advising on payment terms, milestone structures, and risk allocation (including bonding and liquidated damages).
  • •Maintain portfolio-level views of construction project cost, schedule, and funding status, and execute the construction-to-operations financial handoff including final cost reconciliation and capitalization/asset turnover.
  • •Oversee operating budgets and performance for energized data centers, including cost-per-MW/cost-per-rack benchmarking, operational cost tracking, and capex planning for operating sites.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in construction finance, project controls, capital projects accounting, or project finance, ideally in data centers, energy, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure.
  • •Experience managing construction budgets, cost reporting, and draw/funding processes on large capital projects (typically $100M+).
  • •Knowledge of construction loan agreements, draw/funding mechanics, and lender/independent engineer requirements.
  • •Working knowledge of GC/EPC contract structures, change order management, and construction risk allocation (bonding, retainage, liquidated damages).
