Key Responsibilities

  • •Rotate around the table and complete jobs on stuffing tables, including set up and tear down of casing tables.
  • •Flush casings onto horns; pull coils from the turntable; break and fix holes/tie knots; match coils for hangars.
  • •Twirl, pick up, and hang sausage and links at the rate prescribed, and set up and run equipment for stuffing tables.
  • •Label and date boxes; empty gut pans into appropriate tanks; ensure materials are needed to/from the production line.
  • •Ensure area cleanliness, observe quality specs, comply with safety/food safety/GMP/SQF requirements, and complete paperwork/SAP functions.
