Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate daily inspections and field engineering efforts on site, handling RFI/clarifications from start to close, reviewing temporary works, sequencing, and shut-downs.
  • •Maintain comprehensive daily logs, photo records, and concise progress reports documenting site conditions and activities.
  • •Verify readiness of TBMs and arrivals, monitor operational parameters, and supervise installation quality and segment interventions.
  • •Manage excavated surfaces by SEM method and sequencing, TBM grout application, and inspection of lattice girders, steel reinforcement, and temporary supports with excavation class validation.
  • •Inspect and control excavation support works including slurry walls, secant piles, soldier piles with shoring, sheet piles, bracing/strutting systems and ground anchors, ensuring sequencing, preload, lock, and traceability.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 120,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering
  • •At least six years of relevant experience managing tunnel boring machine (TBM) and underground drilling projects (water conveyance)
  • •Strong technical experience in supervising underground works and ground excavation
  • •Registered or eligible for licensure with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) within one year of employment
  • •Bilingual French and English required for non-Quebec assignments
