Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform crop management and nutrient application for farmland areas in an environmentally sound and sustainable manner.
  • •Complete outdoor maintenance activities including weed eating, spraying, side mowing, bush hogging, and field disking with record keeping.
  • •Move and operate equipment such as reels, pivots, linear systems, pumps, and irrigation/effluent transfer using pumps and suction.
  • •Drive tractors and mowers; winterize equipment and aerway/pumping setup as needed.
  • •Comply with Safety (IPS), Bio-Security (BMS), and Environmental (EMS) management system rules; complete daily rainfall readings/inspections and facilitate spill recoveries; be on call for emergencies.
