Job Summary

Design and refine civil land development deliverables, including engineering drawings, plans, profiles, and detailed 3D models using Civil 3D. Interpret municipal and regulatory standards, prepare technical documents and reports, and produce, modify, and quality-check drawings for accuracy and compliance. Support construction with site reviews, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Alberta, and contribute to environmentally responsible planning.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and refine engineering and construction drawings for land development projects.
•Create plans, profiles, and detailed 3D civil models using Civil 3D.
•Interpret and integrate municipal and regulatory standards into design solutions.
•Prepare supporting technical documents, reports, spreadsheets, and presentation-ready tables.
•Support construction activities through site reviews and coordination with contractors.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 89,800 - 118,900

Key Requirements

•Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or an equivalent field.
•8-10 years of hands-on experience in land development design within Alberta and familiarity with municipal processes.
•Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D; familiarity with ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Procore, or SharePoint is an asset.
•Strong analytical and technical skills, including proficiency in Excel for design calculations.
•Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliably insured vehicle.
