Job Summary

Own reliability strategy across development, production, and sustainment phases, ensuring systems are safe, reliable, maintainable, and delivered on time. Lead and conduct reliability analyses that support system design, including FMECA, reliability predictions, environmental stress screening, derating, and FRACAS. Support and coach other reliability engineers, review technical documentation for accuracy and compliance, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

•Implement reliability strategy across development, production, and sustainment phases.
•Support and participate in an engineering team with varying experience levels and sub-disciplines.
•Lead analysis efforts supporting system design for reliability, maintainability, and failure reporting/corrective action.
•Work in reliability disciplines including FMECA, reliability predictions, ESS, and derating.
•Review technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with existing standards. In addition, support and coach other reliability engineers.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
•Experience with Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA), reliability predictions, Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), derating, and/or FRACAS failure reporting and corrective actions.
•Ability to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. government security clearance prior to start date.
•Support multidisciplinary engineering teams.
•Review technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with existing standards, identify concerns, and follow issues through to closure.
