Serve patients by performing venipunctures and finger sticks, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and completing screening procedures. Verify requisitions and patient identifiers, maintain specimen integrity with aseptic and isolation practices, and track collections with required documentation. Record quality control results, resolve unusual test orders with clinical partners, and handle related logistics including patient report printing, billing triage, and courier scheduling. Work with PHI in paper and electronic forms and complete HIPAA/PHI training within 30 days.
