Key Responsibilities

  • •Own AIRS production outcomes including ramp plans, NPI, headcount planning, and on-time delivery targets.
  • •Serve as strategic leader and hands-on executor for manufacturing operations, taking production from LRIP to full-rate production.
  • •Lead and develop a cross-functional manufacturing team spanning production, manufacturing engineering, and quality, setting clear career paths and culture.
  • •Drive IDCA and infrared module process design, documentation, and continuous improvement to ensure yield, quality, and efficiency.
  • •Strategize and implement capacity expansion initiatives (new process equipment) and champion automation, data collection, and process control systems.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 190,000 - 250,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in a technical field (mechanical, electrical, systems engineering, math, or a hard science).
  • •8+ years of progressive manufacturing or production operations experience in a deeply technical hardware industry (e.g., aerospace, defense, consumer electronics, medical, automotive).
  • •3+ years leading production in a cross-functional environment, managing teams across manufacturing engineering, quality, and technicians.
  • •Experience with high-vacuum systems and/or cooled thermal imaging, specifically with Dewars, coolers, and IDCAs.
  • •Demonstrated track record owning new product ramp through full-rate production and improving yield/processes (ideally with Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent).
