Job Summary

Risk Manager within the Project Controls Team on high profile infrastructure projects across energy, renewables, defence, rail and utilities. You will identify, assess and prioritize threats and opportunities, develop management responses, monitor risk exposure, and produce senior management risk reports using tools like Safran, @risk, PRA and BI platforms.

Key Responsibilities

•Facilitate identification, assessment and prioritisation of threats, opportunities, and issues.
•Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to enable risk cost profiling and timely financial actions.
•Assist with development of measurable management responses and evaluate post-mitigated positions.
•Monitor overall risk exposure against remaining risk budget and project timeline.
•Produce and present fit-for-purpose risk reports to senior management, communicating threat/opportunity status and required actions.

Key Requirements

•Understanding of integrated risk management solutions across portfolios, programmes and projects
•Experience in qualitative and quantitative risk assessment including probabilistic modelling (e.g., @risk, PRA)
•Ability to facilitate risk workshops and develop proactive threat mitigation and opportunity exploitation
•Experience delivering risk on major projects for blue-chip clients; energy/renewables/defence/rail/utilities exposure advantageous
•Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and commitment to improving working methods
