Job Function: Data Science & Machine Learning

Key Responsibilities

•Model Partnerships & Integration: Identify and evaluate promising new models. Work directly with external model teams — research labs, open-source maintainers, and partner organizations — to bring their work to Cloudflare. Serve as the technical point of contact through integration and launch.
•Technical Content & Education: Author tutorials, technical blog posts, and documentation that help developers understand and adopt our AI offerings. Make complex concepts accessible.
•Community Engagement & Support: Actively participate in developer communities like Discord. Provide technical support, gather feedback, and build relationships with developers and contributors.
•Engineering & Prototyping: Build demos, sample applications, and reference implementations that showcase what\'s possible with Cloudflare\'s AI infrastructure.
•Internal Product Advocacy: Synthesize feedback from developers and model partners into actionable insights for Product and Engineering teams. Influence roadmap, API design, and feature prioritization.
•Event Representation: Present at conferences, meetups, and online events through technical talks, workshops, and live demonstrations.

Key Requirements

•Technical Depth: Strong experience with Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers and Diffusers, Cog).
•Content Creation: Portfolio of technical writing — blog posts, documentation, tutorials — that demonstrates clear explanation of complex topics.
•Public Speaking: Experience presenting technical content at conferences, meetups, or through video content.
•Community Presence: Active participation in developer communities. You\'re visible, helpful, and engaged.
•Partnership Experience: Track record of working with external teams — open-source maintainers, research groups, or partner engineering teams.
