Key Responsibilities

  • •Learn and apply the company estimating systems and estimating terminology to manage estimate preparation.
  • •Collaborate with project teams to develop estimate strategies and plans and use estimates to predict key project issues.
  • •Initiate and prepare the Estimate Plan, Basis of Estimate, qualifications, and proposal materials including bid tabulations.
  • •Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to resolve technical matters and support solicitation, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • •Review project cost data, analyze cost/schedule variances, prepare regular reporting, and recommend corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Administration in Business, Construction Management, or a related field plus 4 years of related experience (or equivalent experience/education).
  • •3+ years of estimating-related experience.
  • •Experience in civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical estimating.
  • •Proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • •Organized, self-starter with strong communication; ability to work independently or in teams and manage multiple estimates.
