Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in leading execution of work in accordance with safe work practices, including electrical safety and hazard controls (e.g., at heights, hazardous energy, confined space, cargo management).
  • •Complete planned maintenance tasks and follow instructions/schedules, interpreting written and verbal directions accurately.
  • •Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tasks for electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems using SCADA information and tools such as a fluke meter.
  • •Ensure scheduled solar panel maintenance is completed safely and on time, including accurate time reporting and maintenance records in Maximo.
  • •Identify risks and gaps in field execution, assist with procedure/service protocol improvements, and support safety/technical investigations and related reports as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Have a college/vocational degree or certificate in an electrical field, or at least 3 years as a Solar Maintenance Electrician in good standing plus 3 years of relevant work experience (education + experience considered together).
  • •Understand SCADA and troubleshoot electrical control systems and related equipment with strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Windows.
  • •Read, interpret, and understand electrical drawings and schematics, with a commitment to safe, incident-free work.
  • •Maintain, test, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance and repairs for PV solar equipment (DC and AC) as required.
  • •Demonstrate basic industrial safety practices, including LOTO, and advanced troubleshooting for scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and asset integrity inspections.
