Key Responsibilities

•Install and configure IT systems (Linux, Windows, virtualization, containers, software) and security products (firewalls, SIEM, PKI) according to architecture requirements.
•Harden systems and applications against attacks using established security standards such as BSI Grundschutz or CIS Benchmarks.
•Support development and maintenance of automation scripts (e.g., Ansible, Helm scripts) to make installations and configurations reproducible and efficient.
•Monitor system operational readiness, analyze incidents, and resolve faults independently.
•Ensure changes and configurations are fully documented to support certification audits (e.g., BSI).

Key Requirements

•Completed degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in IT, Cyber Security, or a related technical field, plus initial work experience, or multi-year vocational training as Fachinformatiker (Systemintegration) or comparable education.
•Solid administration knowledge of Linux and/or Microsoft client/server systems.
•Experience with virtualization (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V) and knowledge of containers (Docker/Podman) and Kubernetes.
•Experience with PowerShell and Bash/Shell scripts, and Ansible and/or Helm scripts.
•Network technology experience (TCP/IP, routing and switching, firewalls).
