Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform geotechnical engineering design and analyses for bridges, buildings, tunnels, underground structures, and retaining walls with minimal supervision of senior engineers.
  • •Prepare geotechnical memoranda, data reports, and comprehensive technical reports and presentations to address design and construction issues and recommendations.
  • •Develop and coordinate geotechnical work across New England and other areas, managing design and construction activities from inception to completion for infrastructure projects.
  • •Oversee and monitor cross-functional teams of engineers and scientific professionals to execute projects, including budgets, tracking hours/expenses, technical calculations, permitting, and compliance documentation.
  • •Coordinate, review, and approve infrastructure design plans to ensure data integrity and compliance with applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Geotechnical or Tunneling Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • •7 to 10 years of relevant geotechnical experience.
  • •Engineer license required.
  • •Extensive knowledge of geotechnical engineering and working knowledge of related disciplines such as Structures, Civil, and/or Environmental.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in technical writing and design software.
