Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist technical support groups with application questions/issues; resolve issues across assembly, test, and manufacturing, and identify/correct design issues and vendor/system component issues.
  • •Identify field issues with hardware or software and work with development teams to drive resolution.
  • •Support chiller customer witness tests and respond to controls questions in requests for quotations from the sales organization.
  • •Travel as necessary to job sites to support technical support and local field technicians in diagnosing and resolving potential design issues with Trane controls.
  • •Develop general support knowledge across Trane controls products and participate in development projects transitioning to production.

Key Requirements

  • •4-year Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related degree.

  • •Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • •Excellent people skills and ability to work with multiple SBU’s and vendors.
