Key Responsibilities

  • •Stand up the central analytics and data science team and define staffing, prioritization, and domain engagement for analysts.
  • •Recruit, develop, and retain analysts and data scientists; build career paths and development models.
  • •Set standards for analytical rigor, including experimental design, forecasting, statistical inference, and how uncertainty is communicated to decision-makers.
  • •Own certified data marts, metric definitions, metric dictionaries, and business-rule testing; establish peer review for consistency.
  • •Drive executive and cross-business reporting and high-stakes decision support by translating complex questions into clear analysis and recommendations.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years in analytics or data science with 5+ years leading teams including data scientists, analysts, and analytics engineers.
  • •Fluency with SQL and Python plus strong data modeling instincts; hands-on experience with dbt or equivalent and building/reviewing certified data marts.
  • •Direct experience with forecasting, experimental design, and statistical inference applied to business problems with models in production.
  • •Experience with a modern data stack such as BigQuery, dbt, and Airflow (or equivalents).
  • •Experience defining and certifying metrics, testing business rules, resolving entities across systems, and enforcing consistent definitions.
