Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, grow, and support a team of ~5–8 engineers building and operating the Integrations Platform.
  • •Own delivery and execution of the integrations roadmap, balancing partner needs, new platform capabilities, reliability work, and technical debt.
  • •Operate as a player-coach: stay hands-on in architecture reviews, technical proposals, and design documents, and prototype when it adds leverage.
  • •Recruit, hire, and onboard engineers, and develop them through 1:1s, actionable feedback, growth plans, and performance management.
  • •Drive operational excellence for correctness-critical systems, including on-call practices, SLO-based monitoring, incident response, and blameless retrospectives.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience leading and growing software engineering teams as a people manager, with a strong hands-on engineering background as an IC.
  • •Engage deeply in backend, distributed, and event-driven system design and architecture, and coach engineers on technical decisions.
  • •Familiarity with integration platform technologies, including TypeScript/Node.js, APIs and webhooks, message-driven architectures, and AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, ECS, and API Gateway.
  • •A track record of recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining strong engineers and building healthy teams.
  • •Proven ability to deliver complex platform or backend projects while managing scope, risk, and stakeholders across teams.
