Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead architectural assurance for a large, complex transformation portfolio (30–50 projects).
  • •Oversee the end-to-end assurance lifecycle from early design through to delivery using a “dip in / dip out” model.
  • •Lead and mentor a team of 2–3 senior architecture assurance consultants and set a tone for independent technical challenge.
  • •Define and enforce architectural guardrails, reference architectures, and standards, ensuring alignment to enterprise policy, security and regulatory expectations.
  • •Provide independent, objective assurance—identify and escalate architectural risks and gaps and challenge design decisions where required.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •20–30 years’ experience in enterprise/solution architecture and architecture assurance.
  • •Proven experience leading architecture assurance across large transformation programmes.
  • •Deep experience in regulated environments (e.g., utilities, energy, infrastructure).
  • •Ability to operate across both IT and Operational Technology landscapes.
  • •Authority in enterprise architecture governance (TOGAF or equivalent) and architecture assurance methodologies, with strong stakeholder management.
