Key Responsibilities

  • •Create and/or implement a daily operations plan using complex software and hardware systems for command and control tasks.
  • •Select and apply correct procedures from a formal procedures repository and maintain required technical knowledge.
  • •Obtain/apply technical knowledge on various hardware subsystems and document discrepancies as they occur.
  • •Implement workarounds and contingency plans to minimize impacts from system anomalies.
  • •Contribute to testing, readiness, training, and implementation of new ground software deliveries, including crosstraining and supporting mission initialization; lead mission interactions.
  • •Work program priorities to implement process improvements relevant to the mission supported; periodically travel to coordinate with personnel from various sites and factories.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and a minimum of 5 years of prior related engineering experience (or equivalent experience).
  • •Active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance is required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required.
  • •Experience with training and certification in an operational position.
  • •Ability to operate in a 24/7 environment with overtime and non-scheduled call-in availability.
  • •Knowledge and application of formal procedures to select the correct procedure(s) for specific scenarios.
