Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and deploy agent-based AI systems to improve clinical data extraction quality and reliability in production.
  • •Own technical design and delivery for agent workflows from integration through rollout.
  • •Integrate new AI capabilities into existing production platforms with focus on performance, scalability, and cost.
  • •Partner with clinical AI, engineering, and product teams to prioritize problems, define success metrics, and ship incremental improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of software engineering experience building production systems at scale.
  • •3+ years building and shipping AI/ML-powered applications in production with hands-on LLM-based multi-step/agent workflows (orchestration, structured outputs, error handling, downstream integration).
  • •Strong hands-on Python expertise and modern software engineering practices (testing, code review, workflow orchestration, agile delivery in large codebases).
  • •Experience designing and operating AI systems in cloud environments, with AWS strongly preferred, plus CI/CD, observability, and production support.
  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (an advanced degree or clinical/life sciences background is a plus).
