Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the first point of contact for customers and internal teams, providing timely responses to compute-related inquiries.
  • •Triage and prioritize incoming requests, gather initial issue details (logs, error messages, metrics), and ensure SLAs for acknowledgment, first response, and resolution.
  • •Serve as the L2 escalation point for deep troubleshooting of GPU/TPU workloads, Kubernetes clusters, and compute infrastructure, including diagnosing performance bottlenecks and resource contention.
  • •Analyze system metrics, logs, and traces (e.g., dmesg, journalctl, nvidia-smi, Prometheus, Grafana) to identify root causes and recommend actionable guidance or temporary workarounds.
  • •Create and maintain runbooks/playbooks and contribute to post-mortems and support process definition while participating in on-call rotations for 24/7 coverage.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in system administration, technical support, or infrastructure operations in compute-heavy environments (bare metal, cloud, HPC, or virtualization).
  • •Deep Linux/Unix expertise including debugging kernel-level issues, performance tuning (sysctl, ulimit), and networking troubleshooting (iptables, tcpdump, DNS, NFS, SSH).
  • •Hands-on Kubernetes experience: debugging pods/nodes/clusters (kubectl describe/logs, crictl), with networking/storage and resource management (CNI, PersistentVolumes, Requests/Limits, QoS).
  • •Familiarity with containerization (Docker, containerd) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
  • •Basic scripting/automation skills (preferably Go; Bash or Python acceptable) and strong communication skills to explain issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
