Job Summary

Build and support developer tooling for Visa’s Developer Experience group. Install, upgrade, patch, and maintain developer tools, and partner with Cybersecurity and Governance to ensure controls are established and complied with. Drive CI/CD governance, pipeline templates/catalogs, inner sourcing processes, and tool reliability through regular housekeeping. Triage complex technical issues in production and participate in L3 on-call rotations.

Key Responsibilities

•Engineer vendor products into Visa’s environment by installing, upgrading, patching, and maintaining developer tools.
•Interface with Cybersecurity and Governance teams to ensure controls are established, maintained, and complied for developer tools.
•Develop standards and enforce governance across CI/CD practices.
•Create and maintain templates and catalogs of pipelines and manage inner sourcing processes.
•Support complex technical issues in an interop production environment and participate in L3 on-call rotation.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
•3+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
•1+ years working in a DevOps admin role, build/release/systems engineering, or related software development work.
•Admin/user knowledge of at least 5 tools including GitHub, GitHub Actions, CodeFresh, ArgoCD, Terraform, Env0, Artifactory, ECR, DTR, SonarQube, CheckMarx, Nexus IQ, Jira, and Jira Align.
•Hands-on experience with software build tools and scripting (e.g., maven, npm, Gradle, Docker; plus Python/Shell/PowerShell/Groovy).
