Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide pre-sales technical support to field sales teams to define overall customer solutions using Dell products and services.
  • •Build and lead relationships for highly sophisticated customer accounts, conducting customer needs analysis and anticipating requirements beyond the current scope.
  • •Prepare detailed product specifications to enable sales and deliver impact presentations at customer facilities.
  • •Verify operability of sophisticated product and service configurations within the customer environment.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Data Engineer, Analytics Consultant, or Data Scientist) with strong commercial exposure.
  • •Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud data platform (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Cloudera, Synapse).
  • •Strong SQL skills for analytical queries, performance tuning, and data modeling (e.g., star/snowflake schemas, dimensional modeling, partitioning/clustering).
  • •Understanding of data warehousing/lakes/lakehouses and ETL/ELT concepts (staging, modeling, performance tuning, cost/perf tradeoffs).
  • •Experience architecting data management/analytics/data science solutions including cloud lakehouse/warehouse migrations, enterprise BI modernization, and GenAI/RAG implementations; familiarity with unstructured data processing and vector databases.
