Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on ready-mix trucks, end dump trucks, tractors, trailers, and heavy construction equipment.
  • •Diagnose complex mechanical issues, analyze malfunctions, and deliver effective solutions to ensure reliable performance.
  • •Dismantle, rebuild, and maintain equipment components, including engines, transmissions, motors, and hydraulic systems.
  • •Conduct parts examinations for wear and damage using precision instruments, and replace/overhaul major components.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or technical certification in Heavy Equipment Maintenance is a plus.
  • •Minimum 3–6 months of hands-on experience with heavy equipment maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •ASE certifications preferred and a valid CDL (A or B); clean driving record is a strong asset.
  • •Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
  • •Knowledge of workplace hazards and safety best practices, including correct PPE use.
