Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the expansion plan for the Manchester project controls offering, including recruiting and building a leadership team supported by Natural Resources North leadership.
  • •Provide client-facing stakeholder engagement for key Natural Resources and New Energies clients.
  • •Deliver planning and project controls across major programmes (60% to 80%), monitoring realistic resource plans, performance, and reporting on plans, costs, safety, environment, and programme performance.
  • •Review project proposals/remits, identify resourcing requirements, and coordinate with client planning functions to resolve resourcing issues.
  • •Ensure monitoring for accuracy and consistency of plans and performance reporting, manage data input standards in cost and performance systems, and mentor and coach the team.

Key Requirements

  • •Natural Resources and New Energies focused experience.
  • •Proven business development experience.
  • •Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • •Strong understanding of strategic resource management and reputational, commercial, and financial risk.
  • •Proven PMO experience within planning and project controls, ideally with a Natural Resources and New Energies focus, plus proficiency with Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office applications.
