Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the post-sales technical relationship for up to three strategic enterprise accounts, acting as the named technical owner through formal handover and for the life of the engagement.
  • •Lead post-incident pattern ownership and technical triage, including driving post-mortems, identifying architectural root cause, and owning the remediation roadmap.
  • •Drive proactive technical strategy, cost optimization, and architectural guidance through ongoing reviews, risk mapping, readiness assessments, and translating Vercel product evolution into customer opportunities.
  • •Scope and orchestrate broader Vercel engagements on accounts by coordinating handoffs to Forward Deployed Engineers and Professional Services, tracking outcomes, and integrating results into the customer roadmap.
  • •Operate as the customer’s voice inside Vercel by translating technical needs into signals for Product, Engineering, and Support and holding internal teams to customer commitments.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in customer-facing technical roles at a platform, infrastructure, or developer tools company, including Technical Account Management, Solutions Architecture, Developer Success Engineering, Customer Support Engineering, Field Engineering, or hands-on technical consulting.
  • •Deep production experience with Next.js and the Vercel platform, including fluency in App Router internals, ISR and caching strategies, Fluid Compute, the AI SDK, and Vercel cost-optimization patterns.
  • •Proven ability to drive complex technical outcomes across Engineering, Product, and Support without formal authority.
  • •Strong written communication for executive and incident contexts, including incident summaries, executive readouts, and post-mortems.
  • •Comfort working as a peer to senior technical leadership and making recommendations even when they’re unpopular.
