Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide age-specific, patient-centered care using the nursing process and perform patient assessment using appropriate techniques.
  • •Continuously assess critical care needs of patients and families and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.
  • •Plan and prioritize critical care/clinical pathways, revise the care plan as necessary, and initiate appropriate transfer plans.
  • •Insert vascular access needles into AVF/AVG, start and perform hemodialysis sessions, and monitor vital signs and fluid balance.
  • •Administer medications/interventions for severe allergic reactions, recognize and respond to anaphylaxis, and document all relevant data while maintaining a safe environment and required competencies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in nursing with the required course duration, or a Degree in Nursing with required duration and appropriate registration criteria.
  • •Valid License/Registration to practice in the home country and/or country of last employment (where applicable).
  • •Minimum two (2) years of recent post-graduate experience in Nephrology Nursing.
  • •Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is essential).
  • •Ability to perform dialysis-specific care, including AVF/AVG vascular access insertion and hemodialysis sessions per protocols.
