Key Responsibilities

  • •Travel in the field and on jobsites and work in the shop as needed (CDL a plus).
  • •Plan work procedures and possible solutions, including part redesign, substitutions, or rearrangement of parts/subassemblies with the Equipment Superintendent.
  • •Troubleshoot and maintain heavy equipment such as dump trucks, pavers, reclaim and milling machines, loaders, graders, dozers, and rollers.
  • •Examine equipment and discuss with the superintendent, operator, or project manager the nature and extent of damage or malfunction.
  • •Ensure the equipment team follows all safety best practices and comply with company policies and safety rules.
