Key Responsibilities

  • •Build autonomous infrastructure AI agents on the Quartermaster platform to handle SRE, DevOps, and DBA workflows including incident investigation and remediation, provisioning, deployments, and database operations.
  • •Design agent architectures for safety and reliability using planning, reasoning loops, tool-use, error recovery, and human-in-the-loop escalation.
  • •Integrate agents with real infrastructure tooling including Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud APIs, monitoring/observability systems, databases, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • •Define and use performance metrics and evaluation frameworks (e.g., task completion rate, accuracy, time-to-resolution, escalation rate) to improve agent effectiveness.
  • •Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and platform engineering teams to identify high-value workflows for automation and translate operational pain points into agent capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Kotlin.
  • •Practical experience with AWS, GCP, or Aliyun, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD systems in an infrastructure/cloud domain.
  • •Strong system design skills to architect reliable, safe, and scalable agent systems that interact with production infrastructure.
  • •Ability to design and build agentic AI systems using LLMs that plan, reason, and execute multi-step tasks via agent loops and tool-use orchestration.
  • •Excellent communication and collaboration skills working effectively across cross-functional global teams.
