Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead planning, design, construction, and operations support for semiconductor manufacturing infrastructure across Micron’s global network.
  • •Manage large-scale projects (including U.S. greenfield FABs) with a focus on engineering innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence.
  • •Provide engineering system ownership and technical support across construction design, schedule/cost control, testing & commissioning, and lifecycle operations/maintenance.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Manufacturing, IT, Procurement, Construction, O&M, and other teams to ensure execution alignment.
  • •Implement global guidelines and standard methodologies and benchmark engineering best practices and best known methods across sites.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Controls Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or related).
  • •7+ years of facility I&C/ELV design and engineering experience for semiconductor manufacturing or high-tech industries.
  • •Ability to travel domestically and internationally 15–25% of the time (up to 30% during critical project phases).
  • •Proven ability to plan, drive, and complete projects effectively.
  • •Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently; strong communication and teamwork skills.
