Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance for UPS, batteries, and power distribution solutions.
  • •Provide on-site support to ensure peak performance and reliability for customers in demanding environments.
  • •Participate in annual safety audits and ongoing compliance programs while following company/customer safety rules.
  • •Use company tools/resources (including meters and hand tools) to support installation and troubleshooting activities.
  • •Support customer needs outside the immediate region within the USA for a minimum of three weeks per quarter.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •2 years of experience with power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics (including relevant coursework and internship experience).
  • •Current, unrestricted driver’s license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record; daily travel to customer sites using an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle.
  • •Pass customer entrance requirements as needed, including periodic background checks and drug screenings.
  • •Ability to read electrical component schematic drawings and perform troubleshooting, testing, and repair techniques.
