Job Summary

Lead the Clinical Quality Assurance function to help ensure Bupa customers receive safe, high-quality care from both external providers and Bupa clinical services. Investigate clinical concerns, handle serious complaints, and drive corrective actions to address root causes. Monitor provider standards through complaints data and customer feedback, analyze trends to improve policies/processes, and recruit, lead, and coach the Clinical Quality and Governance team.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor external providers’ healthcare standards and follow up on concerns or indications of practice outside recognised standards, including reviewing complaints data and customer feedback.
•Investigate areas of concern or poor practice that may compromise customer treatment or patient safety.
•Handle serious customer complaints relating to providers, support individuals with their concerns, and ensure corrective actions are put in place.
•Ensure clinical complaints about Bupa’s care/advice are addressed effectively, with follow-up to confirm root-cause resolution and appropriate business processes and clinical practice.
•Recruit, lead, and motivate the Clinical Quality and Governance team, including performance management and ongoing coaching, and design, document, and review team processes.
