Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain project cost budgets in line with the Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Basis of Estimate.
  • •Liaise with procurement, finance, and time-capture to ensure accurate and timely capture of cost elements (materials, subcontracts, labour).
  • •Monitor and review cost commitments and expenditure across the project lifecycle, including phasing and forecasting with planning.
  • •Review and evaluate cost performance reports and forecast updates; analyze cost impact of manpower forecasts.
  • •Lead project cost close-out and act as Cost Focal Point; supervise and develop the Cost team and support governance/compliance activities.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years of relevant cost control experience in project execution environments.
  • •Advanced knowledge of Project Execution Procedures for Cost Management including change management.
  • •Excellent knowledge of cost software, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
  • •Excellent understanding of WBS and CBS structures, earned value application, and cost/schedule variance analysis.
  • •Prior experience in a senior cost role with team management experience and offshore oil and gas/brownfield exposure strongly preferred.
